Longtails: The Storms of Spring Cover Reveal

This may sound strange, but I sometimes don’t actually start to believe that a book I am writing will be released to the public until the cover is finished.  There’s something about seeing the cover which just makes everything feel a little bit more real.  That being said, I am thrilled and ecstatic to finally reveal the official cover for Longtails: The Storms of Spring, which releases in print and ebook on April 24.  The artwork and design was done by the wonderful Dexter Allagahrei who has been fantastic to work with on this project.  Dexter is always timely and puts up with my many requests and changes.  He is also responsible for most of the artwork on this site.  That being said, Longtails would not be possible without Dexter, so I want to thank him whole-heartedly for all the love, support and time.  Okay, let’s get to the reveal!!!

How can I keep up with Longtails?

This website is the very best place, but you can also join our little community by liking the Longtails Facebook Page.

If you want to be super amazing, you can add Longtails to your to-read on Goodreads!

Longtails: The Storms of Spring will be out in less than a month so please make sure to share the love with anyone you know who might be interested!  In the coming month, I’ll be adding new fanart, doing some livestreams about the book as I attempt to draw mice, and maybe, if you’re very good, I’ll post the first chapter of the book!  Let me know what else you would like to see as we near the launch day!

Thank you so much for joining me for the cover reveal!  Here’s to an amazing April and Longtails release!

Denya Fanart – Alibi Cami

Hello all!  I am so excited to show you the amazing cover art for Longtails: The Storms of Srping this Sunday, but in the meantime, we have some more amazing fanart!  This one comes from Alibi Cami and I love it because it is just so friggin’ adorable!  Seriously, I would read an entire children’s book with this artwork.  You know what?  Scrap the book!  Let’s start over and this time it will be a bedtime story!  Just kidding, of course.  I also love seeing Denya read her recipe book.  So cute!

Del Fanart – TheCyberSkull

First up is a great bust piece from TheCyberSkull, who you can check out by heading to that there link.  I love the colors in this piece.  I also like that Del looks like a strapping young lad ready to go out adventuring.  In some cases, I let the artist choose which character to draw, and everyone so far has picked Del!  I think the scarf is just to snazzy to say ‘No’ to.
